Make an unfired clay frog in conjunction with our current exhibition "The Good Making of Good Things: Craft Horizons Magazine 1941–1979."

David Gilhooly (1943–1941) is an artist who was featured regularly in the pages of Craft Horizons. Known for his irreverent wit and expansive fantasy world populated by frogs, Gilhooly is also well-represented in the collection of the ASU Art Museum.

Join us on May 5 or September 15 to create your own unfired ceramic frog using Gilhooly’s sketches as inspiration. Interpreting Gilhooly’s original plan, we want you to place your frog somewhere outside, where it can naturally disintegrate back into the earth. Take a picture of your frog and tag us on social media with @asuartmuseum and #goodmakinggoodthings.
