Thanks for your interest in volunteering for the Downtown Tempe Authority. The DTA organizes numerous large-scale special events throughout the year, in addition to regular programming. Many of these events are decades old, cherished community events. As these events continue to develop and grow, so does our need for volunteers.

Becoming a Downtown Tempe volunteer is quick and easy. Filling out one registration form gives you access to a wide range of volunteer opportunities, including monthly charity nights and seasonal events. We welcome volunteers of all ages, though select positions may have age restrictions. Please review any qualifications before scheduling a shift.

Downtown Tempe Authority Volunteer Opportunities are great for groups. Everyone from corporate team building, to student groups, or religious organization are welcome.
Interested groups may contact Krislyn Powell to find a volunteer opportunity that suites your needs.
Returning Volunteers do not need to repeatedly fill out a registration form to schedule additional shifts. After submitting a registration form, volunteers have continued access to our self-service volunteer portal.
Lost or forgotten passwords may be retrieved using the “Forgot Your Password” link on the Volunteer Portal login page.
