Special Event Parking

Downtown Tempe offers several choices for parking- and plenty of it! During certain events, special event parking is available at select parking garages and lots. If special event parking is not posted, then standard rates apply. Below you will find a list of upcoming events where special event parking is available. 

Before you head over to Downtown Tempe, please remember the following:

  • On-street parking is FREE on Sundays!
  • The Valley Metro Light Rail AND Streetcar are located downtown, with stops conveniently located near some of the top attractions- Mill Avenue, Tempe Beach Park, and ASU. 
  • Tempe TRiP is Downtown Tempe's parking finder, and shows parking availability in real time.

Tempe Blooms | January 24 & 25, 2026

Special Event parking is in effect during Tempe Blooms at the following locations: 

  • 201 S. Ash Parking Garage: $10
  • Maple Lot: $10
  • Hayden Square Garage: $10
  • Tempe Mission Palms Lot: $10
  • Emerson Garage: $10
  • West 6th Garage: $10
