A seasonal outdoor market series held on the second Sunday of select months, 2nd Sundays on Mill fills Mill Avenue with local vendors, live music, street performances, interactive art, and free family-friendly fun. You’ll find Arizona-made goods, tasty bites, and entertainment for all ages — right in the heart of Downtown Tempe.

More than 55 years strong and ranked among the top art festivals in the nation. Twice a year, 350+ juried artists line Mill Avenue and surrounding streets, joined by chalk muralists, wine and beer gardens, live music, a kids block, and local food favorites.

A cherished Downtown Tempe tradition, the Fantasy of Lights Street Parade + Tree Lighting brings the holiday spirit to Mill Avenue with festive floats, sparkling lights, live entertainment, and the official lighting of the holiday tree. It's a magical evening filled with seasonal cheer and fun for all ages.

A signature holiday event at Tempe Beach Park, the Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade brings the water to life with boats of all shapes and sizes, each decorated in glowing holiday lights. Alongside the parade, enjoy a festive night of shopping at the holiday market, live entertainment, seasonal eats & drinks, Santa photo ops, and a grand fireworks finale — all free and family-friendly.

Join the community at Ragsdale - MLK Park for the annual Menorah Lighting ceremony, hosted in partnership with ASU Chabad. This special event includes traditional blessings, music, kid's crafts and activities, kosher treats and a chance to celebrate Chanukah with friends and neighbors!

An award-winning celebration of flowers and art, Tempe Blooms transforms Downtown Tempe with large-scale floral installations, live mural painting, a floral-inspired market, rotating live music, and unique specials from downtown businesses.

The Downtown Tempe Pride Party lights up Centerpoint Plaza with bold expression and big energy. This free, inclusive celebration features drag performances, a silent disco, live art, and interactive activations that celebrate and uplift the LGBTQIA+ community.

The Juneteenth Block Party brings Black culture, creativity, and history to the forefront with an evening of music, spoken word, dance battles, art, food, and community celebration. Hosted in Centerpoint Plaza, this free event honors Juneteenth through powerful storytelling and joyful expression.
