From 1915 to 1970, 6 million people migrated from the South, forever changing the culture and politics of the U.S. Pulitzer Prize winner Isabel Wilkerson brought the story of the Great Migration to life in her New York Times’ best-selling book, “The Warmth of Other Suns”.

Now, she’s bringing the story to Arizona State University.

Join Wilkerson on April 3, as she discusses the Great Migration at the 23rd annual A. Wade Smith Memorial Lecture on Race Relations. She will take questions from the audience following her lecture and will sign copies of her book from 8:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. "The Warm of Other Suns" will be available for purchase at the venue before and after the lecture.

Where: Old Main, Carson Ballroom​, ASU Tempe campus

Free and open to the public. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and seating will be available and on a first-come, first-served basis.
