This mural is composed of a series of bronze bands set into the sidewalk. It contains collage images representing the history and character of the fire department. A New York artist, LeFevre has created more than 50 site-specific commissioned public art works for major American cities. He includes the history of the area, its cultural and architectural landmarks in relief or in color.
