Oh Tempe Blooms, where have you been all my life! Grab everyone you know and head to downtown Tempe for the first ever flowerful experience in the Valley. From 10am-5pm on Saturday & Sunday, January 27-28 there will be sidewalk views bursting with flowers, music, murals and more!

But fair warning, we were not able to contain the floral festivities just to the streets, this event has taken over the entire downtown—restaurants, bars, hotels, retail and all. Come check out each of the 20 floral installations by following this map, and on the way if you are feeling a bit thirsty, hungry, or shoppy you’ll be pleased to find the verdant vibes following you inside!

Varsity Tavern Rooftop Party – 501 S Mill Ave, SE corner of 5^th & Mill

This rooftop decked itself out in flora for the big weekend! Come enjoy an entire line of specially crafted cocktails: Aviation (Elderflower Essence, Ford’s Gin), Purple Haze (Lavender Essence), Phoenix Flower Margarita (Hibiscus Base), Little Rose (Rose Elderflower & Grapefruit Juice), Rose Queen (Elderflower & Rose), King of Roses (Hibiscus).

Stop in for this curated cocktail event located on the third floor rooftop above Varsity Tavern 12pm-5pm. At One One Rooftop you'll get a stunning view overlooking Mill Avenue and the entire flowerful experience while sipping the cocktail (or flight of cocktails!) of your choice from the list above. Just take the stairs all the way to the top!

Daily Jam – 310 S Mill Ave

Get to Daily Jam early and be ready to hit the petal coated streets at 10am sharp! Pair your breakfast with the perfect floral cocktail: the Lavender Classic Cosmo or the Berry Bloom: a vodka based drink full of sweet berry flavors.

Loco Patron - 222 S. Mill Avenue

On the way from the AC Hotel installation to the Clocktower outside of Tempe Mission Palms you’ll want a pick-me-up. Stop in at Loco Patron for their on tap Orange Blossom Brew or a fresh Prickly Pear with Hornitos Silver, fresh lime juice, agave nectar and a splash of soda.

Caffe Boa – 398 S. Mill Ave

Do not miss the elegant artisanal atmosphere that so perfectly pairs with Tempe Blooms here at Caffe Boa—much like their Blackberry Ginger mocktail and Italian Lemon Spritz with Bergamot infused Amaro (with edible flowers!) pairs with their hand made fresh pastas. If you don’t get enough during Tempe Blooms, come back every Monday night at Caffe Boa for live jazz!

Foch Café & Bistro – 21 E 6^th St, tucked at the end of the roundabout east of Mill

This will be one meal you will not want to miss! Stop in for the Stuffed Squash Blossom appetizer, entre of choice, and Lavender Chocolate Crème Brulé for that sweet tooth. These dishes encapsulate all that Tempe Blooms is all in one fell swoop of the fork and knife! Top it off with the signature Blooms cocktail the Flower Child. Bon Appetite!

Fat Tuesday's – 680 S. Mill Avenue

I can hear the slushies flowing already. Or maybe they are blooming?? Get a flight blooming with color and flavor at Fat Tuesday’s with 4 different frozen cocktails of the customers choice for the floral weekend.

Terra Tempe at the Westin – 11 E. 7^th Street

Terra Tempe at the Westin never falters to create the ultimate experience. See a floral installation while sipping your Briar Rose Cocktail. The story goes Briar Rose was the pseudonym for Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty while she was in hiding. When the fairy godmothers fight over what color her gown is, they go back and forth between pink and blue, which ultimately ends up purple, the color of the signature Blooms cocktail. Don’t prick your finger on these floral arrangements! Ingredients: Empress, St. Germain, Lemon & Rosemary simple syrup, lemon juice, and rosewater with hibiscus flower and lemon wedge accents.

Neighborhood Services & Library Rules Bar and Restaurant at Omni Hotel Tempe – 7 E. University Dr., corner of Mill Ave and University Dr.

Two different flowering cocktails at Neighborhood Services and Library Rules that will start the Tempe Bloom trail off on the perfect botanical foot. Try By the Rose: Botanist Gin, Agave, Lemon Juice, St Germain, Rose Liqueur, with Rose Petals to top. And The Blue Poppy: Tito's Vodka, Peach Bitters, Blueberry infused simple syrup, Lime Juice, Pineapple juice, with a Club Soda Flower Ice Cube.

Snakes & Lattes – 20 W 6^th St., west off Mill near Emerson Parking Garage

Sip your floral crafted beverages while enjoying a mid-day board game break and overlooking one of the majestic floral installations from Snakes & Lattes Patio! Ask for a Forget Me Not, Rose Parade or Last Word cocktail for the full Tempe Blooms experience.

The Vib Hotel – 511 S Farmer Ave (only a hop and a skip across the rail tracks west on 5th St)

If you're coming in from the west, make your first stop at the Vib Hotel to sip on the Bloom Special Cocktail: Pink Dahlia (gin, grapefruit juice, lychee, and sour mix), all while oo-ing and ah-ing over their indoor floral installation. It's petal perfect vibes at the Vib.

Pedal Haus – 730 S. Mill at Centerpoint Plaza

The iconic giant rabbits at Pedal Haus will be sporting flower crowns as you enjoy Pedal Haus's special Tempe Blooms curated menu. Try Doc's Flatbread (soppressata, pepperoni, fresh jalapenos, spicy sauce and a honey drizzle) or if burning your mouth off isn't your thing, try the White Truffle Mushroom Flatbread instead (truffle oil, fresh and dry mozzarella, roasted cremini mushrooms, leeks and herbs) and if you're a sweets gal like me the Tempe Blooms Lemon Olive Oil Cake is something you MUST try. Top it all off with Special drink menu featuring Honey, I'm Home (Rye whiskey, honey, simple syrup, fresh lemon juice) and Coming Up Rose` (Rose`, peach schnapps, simple syrup, fresh lemon juice). Whew!

Tempe Mission Palms – 60 E. 5^th St.

Blooming on all sides with installations #2, #3 and #4 and flowing floral from within! Tempe Bloom takes over Harry’s Place located inside the Palms. The Bluebonnet cocktail is a special concoction of tequila, blue curacao, grenadine and a twist of lemon and jalapeno, an addition to Tempe Blooms you’ll want to experience.

Mellow Mushroom Pizza & Subs – 740 S Mill Ave, 7th and Mill

Order a Lavender Groove Mocktail/Spiked Cocktail or Miss Mushroom Pie and get a ½ price appetizer. I repeat. A 1/2 priced appetizer. *Drools*

Spinelli’s Pizza – 420 S Mill Ave, NW corner of 5^th and Mill

It’s a party at Spinelli’s this weekend for Blooms. Settle in with a Lavender Juniper cocktail for you and Chicken Pesto Pizza for the whole family!

Sparky’s Old Town Creamery – 510 S. Mill Avenue, 5^th and Mill

This flavor of ice cream is brand new to Mill Ave, you won’t find it anywhere else! Try out the Tempe Blooms Cactus Flower Ice Cream only at Sparky’s Old Town Creamery. Get the full special by pairing it with 2 waffles for a Sparky Sunday!

Happy Joe Coffee - 213 E. 7th St.

Happy Joe is now known as little treat city according to me with their Lavender Latte and Strawberry Rose Matcha and I think you definitely earned a little treat on your way from Postino’s, #8 installation, to The Canopy Hotel #9 installation. How will you decide which Tempe Blooms drink to treat yourself with? Choose the less stressful route and get both.

Lotions and Potions – 420 S. Mill Avenue, 5^th and Mill

I think when Lotions and Potions opened up in the early 2000’s they smelled Tempe Blooms coming. Which is impressive to think about considering all the wonderful smells being concocted daily! For this coming weekend they have a floral line of fragrance oils, some designer scents and a few specific scent combinations specifically for Tempe Blooms, come into the shop for 2 for $40 fragrance rollers.

Henna Shoppe – 411 S. Mill Avenue, at 3^rd St.

Take the flowers home with you and stop into the Henna Shoppe for beautiful floral henna artwork that will be the perfect accessory from this unique Tempe Blooms weekend.

The Shoe Mill – 398 S. Mill Avenue

Match the installations by sporting floral kicks, socks, or clothing! You’ll find that all at The Shoe Mill. They carry current styles and trends and are often the first to try new lines and supply the trends. You’ll find great service and quality all in Downtown Tempe, check it out for yourself!
