Outdoor Dining Options in Downtown Tempe

Eat Outside in Downtown Tempe with these awesome patios!

One of the luckiest things about living in Arizona is that patio dining is in season most months out of the year! Even in the middle of summer, there are days just slightly cool enough to hang out with outdoor seating and misters.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the City of Tempe allowed downtown Tempe restaurants to expand their outdoor seating through December 31, 2021. Our businesses have been hard at work, making it easier for guests to sip or dine in downtown Tempe safely and responsibly.

Many of our neighborhood restaurants have permanent patios, but several have expanded their patios to allow for better social distancing or have established new outdoor seating they didn't have before.
