Masala Maniac is Open on Mill Ave

If you are searching for authentic Indian grub, look no further than Masala Maniac on Mill Ave! They have it all—kabobs, plates, curries, naan, and more! They even serve up traditional Indian beers and craft cocktails. Masala Maniac is located at 414 S. Mill Avenue, in the spot formerly occupied by Med Fresh Grill.

If you haven’t been yet, here’s your first look!

First Impressions

They did a complete redesign of the interior, making it welcoming, light, and bright! The walls are adorned with vibrant and fun art pieces that contribute to the restaurant's upbeat atmosphere. There’s plenty of seating, including a large table perfect for groups. They also offer outdoor seating, ideal for those cooler Arizona days and nights.

The Food

Their expansive menu is full of authentic Indian dishes. Everything is house-made from scratch—even the seasonings. Each dish contains at least 15 spices, blended fresh and on-site. The food is made to order and incredibly fresh!

Here’s what we ordered:

• Paneer Kati Wrap
• Chicken Tikka Masala
• Samosas
• Grilled Masala Shrimp
• Garlic Naan

I’ll be real—everything was delicious. I would say that they served up some of the best Indian food I have ever had, and they are right here in Tempe Arizona! The seasoning was perfect, the spices were bold, and each dish served up the right amount of kick. The highlight for me was the Tikka Masala and the Garlic Naan. I enjoyed them so much, that I brought my family with me the next day.
