Downtown Tempe is the place to be to celebrate Valentine’s Day with someone special all month long. Whether it’s a romantic dinner for two or a hike up “A” Mountain to catch a beautiful sunset, Downtown Tempe has plenty of ways to spend time with loved ones.
- From Omni with Love, Special Booking Offerings (7 East University Drive):
Neighborhood Services + Bar Restaurant - Feb. 13-14 enjoy a three-course Valentine’s dinner ($68 per guest, $92 with a beverage pairing).
Lucero Rooftops Lounge & Terrace -Toast to love Feb. 13-14, with champagne, refined small plates and rooftop views - an elevated Valentine’s night made for romance.
Starlight Screenings at Lucero Rooftops Lounge & Terrace- Every Thursday in February, Lucero sets the scene with Starlight Screenings—romantic classics, rooftop views and love-inspired bites and cocktails.
- Alter Ego (108 East University Drive):
Paint your partner's portrait Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. This pre-Valentine’s celebration is the perfect way to spend a fun evening with delicious food and great company.
Alter Ego’s Valentine’s 3-Course Dinner is a choose-your-own prix-fixe experience offered Feb. 13-14 with pricing that varies by entrée ($55–$95 per person).
- Caffe Boa (398 South Mill Avenue):
Love is on the menu at Caffe Boa Feb. 14 for a Valentine Day experience. Enjoy a specialty 4-course meal with included beverages and professional photography ($150/person before tax/gratuity).
- Hike "A" Mountain (100 South Mill Avenue) for the breathtaking views and capture a quick photo (or several), then head back down to Downtown Tempe for happy hour or dinner at Loco Patron right across the street.
- Cruise Tempe Town Lake (72 West Rio Salado Parkway) on a rented boat and glide across the water. Consider renting the dragon or swan boat and pedal around the lake to enjoy an amazing sunset or to take golden hour photos.
- Dinner and a movie at AMC Theaters (730 South Mill Avenue) is always fun when you head to Centerpoint on Mill for a classic combo night out. Grab a bite at one of the nearby eateries before cozying up for a blockbuster.
- Game night at Snakes & Lattes (20 West Sixth Street) is a great way to get competitive with your Valentine. With a library of board games and delicious bites, it’s the perfect date night for fun-loving couples.
- Get Crafty at Tutugether Tempe (740 South Mill Avenue) and create a masterpiece through DIY tufting, resin pouring or decoden art. The crafts are perfect for couples, besties or a solo self-date.
- Grab a Cupid’s Naughty Pie at Prince St. Pizza (680 South Mill Avenue) Feb. 13 - Feb. 14. The restaurant will be serving their iconic Naughty Pies in a heart shape, called Cupid's Naughty Pie available in-store and online for delivery for $20. Also, to make things even sweeter, their Not Ranch is turning PINK for the occasion.
