Tempe Center for the Arts presents Che Malambo to the stage for their first performance in Arizona! Razor-sharp precision footwork, rhythmic stomping and pounding drums are at the heart of the South American gaucho tradition in this thrilling spectacle of music and dance. Malambo began in the 17th century Argentina as a dueling display of agility, strength, dexterity and zapateo-the fast paced footwork inspired by the rhythm of galloping horses.
