Get ready for Drag & Draw—a FREE night of art, performance, and creativity at TCA! Watch dazzling drag queens perform and pose in fabulous looks while you sketch, sip from the cash bar, and vibe to a local DJ. BYO pencils & paper.

Performer Rita DeMornay
The inaugural Miss Desert Rose 2025 and Miss Phoenix Pride 2025, Rita DeMornay, the Indigenous Bombshell, is a trans female born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She is member of the federally recognized Indigenous tribe The Akimel O’otham Pee Posh community also known as the Gila (Hee - La) River Indian Community.

Rita is a professional female impersonator of 6 years who enjoys cosmetology, performing, pageantry and being an advocate for her LGBTQ community. Known as a dancing diva when performing, she enjoys capturing the audience by emotion, her beauty and slaying a lip sync.

Performer Kristofer Inez Onyx
Kristofer Inez Onyx, a performer since childhood, has been a male drag entertainer since 2015. Originally from Ohio, he has called Phoenix, AZ home since 2006. In 2015 he was awarded Arizona Drag’s Diamond Crystal Rising Star of the Year and is a four time Diamond Crystal Male Performer of the Year award winner, and in 2021 won the Chanelle Douglas Performance of the Year Award. Forever Mister Phoenix Pride 2017 & Emperor 14 of the Imperial Court of Arizona, Kristofer also serves as the Co-Director of the Phoenix Pride Royalty Pageants, and during the day he has the pleasure of working for Phoenix Pride as the Director of Development for the organization. 

 DJ Lezbein
With over a decade dj-ing drag shows, pageants, and other community events, DJ Lezbein McKenzie has become an iconic figure in the world of drag show entertainment.  DJ Lezbein possesses a deep understanding of the transformative power of drag culture. Collaborating with some of the most talented drag artists, she has developed an intuitive ability to synchronize music with the unique personas and performances that define drag shows. Her exceptional talent in blending music seamlessly with each performer's style and energy has earned her accolades from both drag queens and kings alike.

Where is Tempe Center for the Arts (TCA) located?
We are located on 700 W. Rio Salado Parkway,Tempe, AZ 85281 at the southwest end of Tempe Town Lake.

By transit:  The Mill Avenue/Third Street Metro Light Rail stop is less than a mile away. Bus Route 48 serves TCA from the downtown Transit Center, as well as the Light Rail stop.
