Welcome back to this week’s Summer Scoops! We’ve lined up an exciting array of events and special deals in Downtown Tempe from September 2 to September 6. Follow this guide and you're in store for a week full of fun activities, tasty bites, and memorable nights!

Start your week off with Mix n Mingle night at Snakes & Lattes Tempe! Every other Monday, Snakes hosts a fun-filled evening of board games and happy hour specials. With hundreds of games to choose from and Game Experts on hand, you're sure to have a blast.

What to Expect:

  • The biggest board game bar & restaurant in the city as your playground.
  • Play hundreds of games with fun people and make new friends!
  • Enjoy extended Happy Hour until 10 PM: $2 off draft beer, cocktails, draft wine, and shareables, plus $5 well drinks.
  • $6 for unlimited gaming.
  • Note: This event is 18+.

Swing by Caffe Boa every Monday from 6 PM to 9 PM for an evening of live jazz that pairs perfectly with a cozy plate of pasta and a glass of wine. Add a sweet dessert to the mix, and you've got the makings of a perfect night out!

Tuesdays are obviously for TACOS... and if there’s one thing about Downtown Tempe, we’ve got the tacos! From classic street tacos to creative culinary twists, there’s something to satisfy every taco craving. Need help deciding where to go? Check out The Best Tacos in Downtown Tempe to make the best choice for your taste buds.

Get to 414 Pizza from 8 PM to 12 AM for Industry Night, featuring $4 well drinks, half-price appetizers (excludes wings). Killer Karaoke starts at 8PM for all of those who like to drink and willingly publicly embarrass themselves! 😂

Looking for something savory after the workday? Pedal Haus has you covered with Happy Hour and lucky for you, every Wednesday is Pretzel Fest! Get a Brewer’s Board and two of their signature brews for just $18. It’s pretzel bliss, paired with the perfect pint. Upgrade to 2 steins or a bottle of wine!

Wine Wednesday at Foch Cafe & Bistro is a midweek must! Enjoy 50% off bottles of wine from 4-6 PM and pair it with one of their tasty Happy Hour apps. Whether it's crispy Fried Pickles or savory Skewers, you'll find the perfect pairing to sip and savor. Check out all the daily specials they have to offer!

Wine Wednesdays at Foch Cafe & Bistro

Enjoy 'Appy Hour' on the C.A.S.A. Patio from 4 PM to 8 PM with $2 off appetizers, then head to Boom Thursdays in the C.A.S.A. Main Room from 10 PM to 2 AM for live DJs and $4 green tea shots until midnight. Sounds like a very fun and eventful Friday eve!

ASU students are back in town, and the Downtown Tempe bars and restaurants are rolling out the red carpet with great events and drink specials. Thursday nights are heating up at Bang Bang Sushi with College Nights! They will have sounds by Foti and great drink specials to match the energy. It’s the ultimate weekly hangout to catch up and unwind with friends and they are doing this every Thursday!

Fridays are all about the weekend, baby! Start your weekend off with a bang at one of Downtown Tempe’s local music venues. Mill Ave has a vibrant live music culture with events like reggaeton, house music, and DJ sets from your favorite local DJs at places like Sunbar, Darkstar Theater, and Bang Bang Sushi.

Friday, September 6 Shows:

Sun Devils, Block Party Season is officially started and we're partying on 6th St for 2 DAYS every weekend that ASU has a home game and the next home game is this Friday, September 7! Watch ASU vs. Mississippi State at the most poppin' outdoor bar on Mill. Here's the C.A.S.A. tailgate schedule.
