Downtown Tempe is proud to host the return of the Dogs of 6th Street event coming to the 6th Street Market on Dec. 15th.
As you already know, the 6th Street Market is your one-stop shop this Holiday Season! The Market houses local purveyors, produce and super talented artisans. But on Dec. 15th, the Market will add some very special activities and vendors to please your four-legged friends!
There will be 10+ special doggie vendors stocked with unique gifts, treats, toys and other one-of-a-kind items for your best furry friend. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to find some distinctive treasures for your K-9 companion.
While there will a ton of fun doggie shopping, there will also be some exciting activities for the whole family.
At noon, the Market will have its “That’s so Fetch Doggie Contest” that will award pets and their owners in five categories:
- Owner & Pet Look-Alike
- Most Talented
- Holiday Flare
- Most Original
- Pupper Passport
We can’t wait to see what kind of costumes and talents our attendees will showcase!
Selfies with Santa is back for the 6th Street Market! Santa is ready to take some FREE pictures with you, your family and your pets! Imagine how cute that Christmas card will be!
This year, we have a “Pupper Passport,” that gives you the chance to win a grand prize during the “That’s so Fetch Doggie Contest.” Be sure to stop by the Info Booth to get your Pupper Passport and visit our locally owned Doggie Vendors to collect your stamps! Once you’ve collected at least 10 stamps, take it to the Info Tent and be entered to win that fabulous grand prize.
While you are collecting all your Pupper Passport stamps, take a stop by Untamed Pet and get your dog’s nails trimmed for FREE. Yep!! FREE!
You know what else is FREE? Gift wrapping! With every 6th Street Market purchase, you can get it wrapped for FREE! Just head toward the Info Tent to get that special gift wrapped for the holiday.
While you’re shopping, taking selfies, getting stamps and all that other fun stuff, there will be live music performed by some of your favorite local artists. If that doesn’t get you in a jolly holiday mood, we don’t know what will!
