Get Validated Parking When You Shop or Dine Downtown in September

It has been a tough summer! The heat, street closures, and construction have been challenging, but businesses are open and need your love now more than ever! 

Available now through September 30, 2025, you can get up to 2 HOURS of validated parking at select parking locations using the Parkmobile App.  

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

1. Use the ParkMobile App to start a session at a valid location (see map for details)

2. Visit a downtown business and request a validation code

3. Enter the code into the active session in the ParkMobile App.

VALIDATION MAP

Validation is only available at select on-street parking locations and in Emerson Parking Garage. This map will show the valid parking locations.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

• Parking validations are only valid through the ParkMobile App
• Validation is only available at valid ON-STREET locations or in Emerson Garage.
• Limit one code per day per registered ParkMobile user.

INSTRUCTIONS ON ENTERING VALIDATION CODES

1. Park your vehicle at a valid on-street location or in Emerson Parking Garage.
2. Start your parking session in the ParkMobile App. 
3. Obtain validation code from a Downtown Tempe Merchant and enter the code into the ParkMobile App
   1. Click on Active Parking Session
   2. Select the 'Add Discount Codes'
   3. Enter the code manually
   4. Select 'Add Discount Code' and review your transaction to confirm it's been applied.
